My Story

I have struggled with weight loss for 15 or so years wrongly thinking I was being 'healthy' by eating low fat and lots of whole grains while also trying to burn 1500 calories a day. The truth is, only counting calories in and calories out does not work for everyone. After I started intermittent fasting and the clean keto life-style, I realized I could lose weight easily without counting calories and constant hunger. I eat healthy fats, zero whole grains, do moderate exercise and am full of energy; I lost 58 pounds and am still losing inches and gaining muscle.

I decided to become a health coach in order to help people who have struggled with weight loss to change their diet and lifestyle in order to exceed their health goals and greatly improve quality of life.

I want to change the misconception that calories from a bowl of brown rice are the same as calories from eggs and veggies. Sometimes our body will store converted fat from sugar and carbs, but will gladly burn fat when we eat more healthy fats and less carbs and sugar.
